The latest addition to our review generation tool, SMS Mode enables you to request feedback from your customers via an SMS text message. Each campaign uses a dedicated, white-labeled short URL, which links out to a landing page where users can select an NPS rating and leave feedback about their experience.
We’ve had strong demand for SMS mode to be added to Get Reviews, so naturally, we want to make it available for our users as soon as possible. That said, we’re also aware of the potential risks, given that you’ll be sending SMS campaigns to not just your own customers, but potentially your customers’ customers too.
That’s why we’ve chosen to err on the side of caution and release SMS Mode in BETA to begin with, just in case we have to iron out any bugs, and so we can ensure that when we fully release it, this tool will be as robust as it can be.
In the meantime, we’ve issued all BrightLocal accounts with 10 SMS Mode Credits so you can get to grips with the feature and try sending out a few test campaigns before you commit to purchasing a bundle of credits. If you experience anything unusual or suspect buggy behavior during the BETA phase, drop us a line and our support team will be on hand to jump in and help. While we don’t envisage any major issues (we wouldn’t put this feature live if we did), if something does go wrong we will be happy to replenish your credit balance to cover any incomplete or delayed campaigns.
