Start by logging in to BrightLocal and going to the ‘Locations Overview’ Dashboard.
Find the Location you want to connect and click 'View'.
On the next page, click 'Settings' and then 'Connections' from the dropdown.
Click the blue 'Connect' button on the Bing connection card.
Please note that you can only connect to Bing once you have purchased Active Sync. If you do not see the Bing connection card here that's because you haven't purchased it. Find out how to purchase Active Sync here.
Wait for it to connect, this should only take a few seconds. Then click 'Connect'.
If we cannot find your Bing profile, a popup will appear.
In a new window go to Bing.com and type your business name into the search bar to generate a local search result.
Click the link icon.
Followed by 'Get a link' and then 'Copy'.
Go back to the BrightLocal platform and paste the URL into the connections popup and click 'Connect'.
Once you click ‘Connect’ the system will start looking for the listing. When a match is found we’ll return the business name and address so that you can confirm this is the business you want to connect.
When you click confirm, the listing will be connected to your BrightLocal Location and the system will begin the process of claiming the listing on your behalf.
Please note this process can take up to a week to complete.
