When using the lead generation widget, the audit is requested before the user is asked to complete their contact details. Although the name and email fields are required, you may see that they appear as 'unknown' in the leads that have been pulled in. This can happen for either of these reasons:
- The lead hasn't completed the contact form yet. When they do, you'll see their details.
- The lead has left the process without entering their contact details.
Other contact details may not show on the Agency Leads section if those fields were not enabled at the time the lead was generated. This is so the Agency Lead Generator Widget didn't ask them to provide that information.
Why is a credit being taken for unknown leads?
There is a cost associated with generating each report, therefore the Agency Lead Generator is set up to charge every time that a report is run.
The field for contact details is not placed first, as this may act as a hurdle for potential customers / leads. Once a potential customer has initially entered their report details, they are more likely to provide their contact details in order to receive the report.
