July 2025 Release Notes

Refreshed Side Navigation

We've made a subtle but impactful change to the side navigation within the BrightLocal platform. We've updated the spacing, font size, and icons to create a cleaner, more intuitive experience. You'll also see some slight regrouping of our tools, and what was previously "Reputation Manager" is now simply Reputation.

Why the Change? Based on user research conducted in 2024, many of you told us that our platform wasn't always as clear or easy to understand as it could be. A key piece of this feedback highlighted the visual overwhelm of both our top and side navigation bars. This refresh is the second step in an ongoing effort to update our user interface (UI), aligning it with the future look and feel of the platform once our new design system is fully implemented.

New In-Platform Resource Centre

We've launched our brand-new Resource Centre directly within the BrightLocal platform. We're always looking for ways to make it easier for you to find the information and support you need, and this new hub does just that.

You'll notice that the chat bubble previously located in the bottom right corner of your screen (when you're logged in) has been replaced by a new icon. Previously, many of these resources were accessible via a link in the top toolbar called "Learning Resources." Now, simply click on this new icon to access a wealth of resources, all in one convenient place.

Here's a few things that you'll find inside:

• Live Chat: Need immediate assistance? Our live chat is still available and works just as it did before.
• Help Centre: Find answers to common questions and in-depth guides.
• Webinars: Catch up on our latest webinars or register for upcoming sessions.
• News: Stay up-to-date with the latest BrightLocal features and announcements.
