In this overview, we will explain how to understand your Local Rank Tracker Roll-Up report.
1. Online Ranking Summary
After selecting the Online Ranking Summary you will see a number of status boxes relating to your performance across the search engines selected in the report.
Up: How many keywords in total across all reports have moved up in rankings since the last report run.
Down: How many keywords in total across all reports have moved down in rankings since the last report run.
No Change: Keywords that haven’t moved position since the report was last run.
New: We track keywords up until the 51st position on search engines. New means any keywords that have entered the top 51 since the last report run.
Lost: We track keywords up until the 51st position on search engines. Lost means any keywords that have moved outside of the top 51 since the last report run.
You can also see a breakdown of ranking changes by the search engines selected in your report.
The ‘Rankings by Position’ summary displays your ranking performance across all locations in a graph. The graph is formatted in different colors based on your positioning across each search engine.
The second table displays all of the keywords included in your roll-up report by grouping them into ranking ‘buckets’. Results for all search engines (Google and Bing) will be aggregated so each keyword will have one ranking position per search engine.
2. Keyword Groups
The ‘Keyword Groups’ tab allows you to create groups for similar keywords within your report. You can view the overall ranking performance of the keywords within the group.
‘Rankings by Position’ will show you how many keywords you have ranking in each position. This is aggregated into positions 1, 2-5, 6-10, 11-20, 21-50, and 51+. We only display the ‘best’ ranking for each keyword within organic and local result types. Third-party results are not included in the selection here.
The table includes all of your grouped keywords. It shows the ranking position of your most recent report across all selected search engines.
3. Report List
The ‘Report List’ shows you a list of all the individual Rank Tracker reports included within your roll-up report.
4. Report Leaderboard
The ‘Report Leaderboard’ shows you a list of all the reports included in your roll-up report. It displays the ranking positions for all keywords in each report, so you can see which reports are performing best and worst.
