Why can't I find my Foursquare listing?

In early 2025, Foursquare permanently shut down its public “City Guide” website and app, which were previously the only places where a Foursquare listing could be viewed online. Foursquare's official announcement can be seen here: https://foursquare.com/city-guide-sunset/
 
As a result of that shutdown, there is no longer a public database or live URL that can be accessed or displayed within a BrightLocal Citation Builder report. When you purchase the Foursquare data aggregator, we submit your business information to Foursquare’s internal “Places” database, which powers their partner and navigation networks, but that data is now kept entirely internal and can’t be verified through a public link.
