If your Citation Builder Express campaign submissions are not completed within the 48-hour window, you’re eligible for a refund of the Express upgrade fee.
Here’s how it works, and what to do next:
When the 48-hour window starts
The 48-hour Express submission window begins once both of the following are complete:
- You’ve purchased Citation Builder Express.
- You’ve provided all the required business information for your campaign.
Once this information is submitted, your campaign moves into our Express queue and the timer starts.
What if submissions exceed 48 hours?
Citation Builder Express means we’ll submit your citations within 48 hours — not that listings will be published or live within that time.
If your submissions aren’t completed in that timeframe:
- You’re entitled to a refund of the Express upgrade fee.
- This applies only to the 20% Express surcharge, not the full campaign cost
How to request your refund
Refunds are not issued automatically.
To request your refund:
- Email our Support team at support@brightlocal.com.
- Include your Citation Builder campaign ID (found at the top of your campaign report).
- Let us know that the 48-hour submission window was missed.
Timeframe for refund requests
You’ll need to submit your refund request within 7 days of purchase.
