Do I need to verify data with Data Aggregators after submission using Citation Builder?

Each Data Aggregator has their own approach to verification.

Here's an overview of what to expect when we submit to the aggregators on your behalf through a Citation Builder (CB) campaign:

Neustar and Foursquare

These do not require additional verification and accept the data we provide to them.

Data Axle (formerly Infogroup)

Submitting business data to Data Axle requires verification from the business location. Data Axle performs this through phone verification or using information on the business website.

Within seven days of submitting data to Data Axle, they will call the business number we provided and attempt to make contact on three occasions. If unsuccessful, they will attempt to confirm details via the business's website.

If you choose to submit to Data Axle, you should expect a phone call within seven days. The call will be placed from this phone number, so you know it is Data Axle calling: 800-794-1404
