How to Create a Template
Go to Reputation Manager in the main menu, click on 'Overview' and then the 'Review Inbox' tab. Once the tab is open, click on 'Actions' and select 'Reply Templates'.
In the next window, click 'Create Template'.
Add your copy to the main text box.
If you want to personalize your template with the person's first name or your business name, simply click the appropriate tags in the box above.
Don't forget to give your template a name as well.
If you only want your template to be applied to reviews from a specific business, click the 'Link to Client' box and select the business from the list that appears. If the business does not appear in the list, you need to add the business as a client in BrightLocal. Here's how.
Lastly, you can use the 'Link to Rating' option to choose which reviews you want your template to be sent to. You can choose for it to be applied to all reviews, or you can choose for it only to be applied to reviews with a specific star rating.
When you're happy, click 'Create Template'.
How to Edit a Template
Find the template that you want to edit in Reputation Manager and click the 'Edit' button next to it.
Make the necessary changes to your template and then click 'Save Template.'
How to Duplicate a Template
Find the template that you want to duplicate and click the arrow next to it. Choose 'Duplicate from the dropdown options.
A duplicate template will open up. Give the template a new name, make any other changes that you like, and then click 'Create Template.' Your duplicated template should now appear in the 'All Templates' window.
How to Delete a Template
Find the template that you want to delete and click the arrow next to it. Choose 'Delete' from the dropdown options.
Type PEMANENTLY DELETE in capitals into the text box and then click the 'Permanently Delete' button.
