- Contact BrightLocal support: Send an email to support@brightlocal.com or use the in-app chat to inform our team that you’re interested in joining BrightLocal Labs.
- Account eligibility: Make sure you’re on a Manage, or Grow plan. Only the account owner can request Labs access, since it may involve enabling features that affect billing or data usage. If you’re not an Account Owner, coordinate with them to contact support on your behalf.
- Activation: If your request is accepted, our support team will confirm and enable BrightLocal Labs for your account. Once enabled, you’ll see the new BrightLocal Labs features appear in your BrightLocal dashboard.
- Confirmation and next steps: Our support team will reach out confirming that BrightLocal Labs access is enabled. You may need to log out and log back in to see the new features. After that, you’re all set to explore BrightLocal Labs! We recommend reading our Help Center articles that explain how each new Labs feature works.
BrightLocal Labs features are not visible to all users by default; this is to ensure a smooth testing phase. If at any point you wish to disable a BrightLocal Labs feature, you can contact support to have it disabled. Keep in mind that BrightLocal Labs features are in beta, so you might encounter minor bugs – if you do, please inform support or your customer success manager so we can address them quickly.
