What is a Location Summary? (New Platform)

Location Summary is your home screen for local performance.

It brings everything you need to know about a location into one clear view, so you can see how you’re doing and know what to do next.

What you’ll see when you open a location

When you open a location, Location Summary is built to answer “how am I doing?”

At the top of the page, you’ll find your AI Insights and Recommendations, a prioritized to-do list based on what’s happening across your location right now, and your Location Score.

Below that are modules for each area of your local performance, covering local SEO foundations and your visibility across Google Maps and Organic rankings. These individual sections power the overall Location Score.

Each module gives you the most important signals at a glance. If you’re not sure what the next steps are, you can click the AI Insights button for specific recommendations on how to improve in that area.

Local rankings at a glance

Further down the page, you'll also see an overview of your rankings for a specified keyword, based on your most recent reports.

You can change the keyword being tracked, and toggle between the Google Maps and organic views.

Selecting a grid point in the Google Maps view shows you the top-ranking businesses in that spot. You can also see the overall top competitors table below.
