How do I set up Local AI Visibility?

The first time you open Local AI Visibility for a Location, you’ll see the option to set up Local AI Visibility.

Start the setup

When viewing a Location, select ‘Local AI Visibility’ from the left-side menu.

Select ‘Set up Local AI Visibility’ to begin.

Add your prompts

You'll be taken to ‘Add your first prompts’. Prompts are the questions people ask AI when they're looking for a business like yours; this is what Local AI Visibility tracks to see whether you show up in the answers.

If you’re not sure where to start, use the ‘How to write prompts’ guidance for examples.

To add a prompt, type it into the ‘Enter a prompt field’ and select the ‘+ Add’ button. It will appear in the list below where you can also track how many prompts will be tracked (up to a maximum of 20). You only need to add one prompt to get started, but you can always add more later.

If you want to remove a prompt before starting, select the trash icon next to it.

Start tracking

Once you’re done, select ‘Start tracking’ to generate your first Local AI Visibility report for that location.

Setting up Local AI Visibility usually takes 5-10 minutes. You don't need to stay on the page; feel free to leave and come back later. Your results will be ready when you return.
