How do I add or remove a prompt?

You can add your own prompts to your Local AI Visibility report by selecting ‘Manage prompts’ at the top of the page.

Type your prompt into the ‘Enter a prompt’ field, then select ‘+ Add’.

A good prompt is a natural, conversational question your customers might actually ask an AI platform when they're looking for a business like yours.

Using suggested prompts

To use suggested prompts, select the 'Suggested prompts' button.

Next, you will see AI-generated prompts based on your business. You can filter these to show either branded prompts (including your business name) or unbranded prompts (not including your business name).

Select the prompts you want to include and click 'Add selected'.

How many prompts can I add?

You can track up to 20 prompts per location. A running count at the top of the list shows how many you've added so far.

Can I edit a prompt?

You can't edit an existing prompt directly. To change one, delete it and add a new one with the wording you want.

How do I remove a prompt?

Select the trash icon next to the prompt you want to remove, or select the checkbox next to multiple prompts and then click the ‘Remove selected’ button.

If you’ve made any changes to your prompts, remember to select ‘Save changes’ once you’re done.
