Which Plan Types Include AI Features?

BrightLocal’s new AI-driven features are exciting additions – but you might be wondering if they’re available on your current subscription plan. BrightLocal offers three main plan tiers for its platform: Track, Manage, and Grow (in addition to a “Simply Listings” plan focused just on listing management). The availability of AI features varies by plan, with higher-tier plans getting the most comprehensive AI benefits.

Track

The Track plan currently does not include BrightLocal’s new AI Insights & Recommendations as part of the standard offering. If you are on Track and curious about AI features, you won’t see the BrightLocal Brain or AI Insights in your account unless you upgrade to a Manage or Grow plan.

Manage

• AI Insights & Recommendations: Yes, the Manage plan will have access to BrightLocal Brain’s insights and recommendation features. You will see AI summaries and suggestions drawn from the data that the Manage plan covers – namely, your rankings, local search grid, citations, and GBP audits. This can greatly enhance the value you get from those tools, providing the AI’s interpretation of your performance.
   
• Scope of insights: Because the Manage plan does not include Reputation Manager (review data), the AI’s insights on a Manage plan will exclude review-based analysis. You’ll still receive insights about ranking trends, search visibility, citation consistency, and recommendations to improve in those areas, but you won’t get, for example, insights about your average star rating or recommendations to respond to reviews. 
   
• BrightLocal Anywhere (external AI integration): Manage plan users will not have access to the BrightLocal Anywhere integration by default. If you’re on Manage and want to use the BrightLocal Anywhere integration, you would need to upgrade to Grow.

Grow

• AI Insights & Recommendations: Yes, Grow users get the complete set of AI insights because they have the complete data. BrightLocal Brain will utilize ranking data, citation data, and review data to generate insights.
   
• Scope of insights: Expect a rich array of observations – from SEO rankings to how your customer feedback is trending. The recommendations will cover everything from on-site SEO tweaks to reputation management actions. Because Grow has access to more data, the AI can surface deeper insights.
   
• BrightLocal Anywhere (external AI integration): Yes, Grow plan users will have access to BrightLocal Anywhere. Once enabled, you can connect your BrightLocal data to external AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude. This integration is a powerful extension, effectively allowing you to query your BrightLocal data through AI assistants outside the BrightLocal interface.
