To access AI Insights on a Manage or Grow plan, upgrading your subscription is quick and easy. You can change your plan at any time through your account settings.
Here’s a step-by-step guide to upgrading your plan so you can gain access to BrightLocal’s AI features:
- Go to your billing settings: Log in to your BrightLocal account and click on your account menu at the top-right of any page. In the dropdown, select “Billing Details.”
Please note: Only the account owner or admin can access billing settings; if you are not the owner, you’ll need them to perform the upgrade.
- Choose upgrade/downgrade: In your Billing Details page, you’ll see your current subscription plan information. Click the “Upgrade / Downgrade” button.
Select your new plan: You’ll be presented with BrightLocal’s plan options (Track, Manage, Grow) and a selector for the number of locations you manage, as well as monthly vs annual billing. To access AI Insights, choose the plan that includes what you need:
- If you’re on a Track plan and want AI Insights in-platform, select Manage. If you also want review-based insights, select Grow.
- If you’re on a Manage plan and want to unlock the review-powered AI insights and external AI integration, select Grow.
Ensure you pick the correct number of locations your account should cover, as plans are priced by location count.
- If you’re on a Track plan and want AI Insights in-platform, select Manage. If you also want review-based insights, select Grow.
- Click “Subscribe Now” on that plan option: You’ll be prompted to confirm your order details. Any pro-rated cost (if you’re mid-billing cycle) or the new subscription amount will be shown before confirming.
If you’re increasing your plan, your credit card on file will be charged the prorated difference for the current period, and then the new rate going forward.
For annual plans, it will calculate the difference for the remaining term.
If you just moved to a Manage or Grow plan, you will now see the AI Insights page in your left navigation menu.
