When your AI Insight is ready, you’ll see a notification in the BrightLocal platform, whether you stayed on the page or moved elsewhere.
If you didn’t see one, here are the most common reasons:
- You weren’t logged in
Notifications are shown in-platform and only appear when you’re logged in. If your insight finished while you were away, you’ll see the notification next time you log back in.
- Your insight is still processing
Most insights are ready in 6 to 7 minutes, but it can take up to 15 minutes on busier days. If you’re unsure, head to the AI Insights tab to check the current status.
- The insight failed to generate
If something goes wrong, you’ll see an error message on the AI Insights page. If this happens, contact our support team with the location name, and we’ll take a closer look.
- The notification was dismissed
If you or someone on your account dismissed the notification, it won’t appear again. You can still view your completed insight anytime in the AI Insights tab.
A simple way to stay on track
If you often miss notifications, try running AI Insights when you know you’ll be active in the platform. That way, your insights are ready right when you need them, with no extra checking required.
