To access Reviews data in AI Insights, upgrading your plan is quick and easy. You can change your plan at any time through your account settings.
Here’s a step-by-step guide to upgrading your plan:
-
Go to your billing settings
Log in to your BrightLocal account and click on your account menu at the top-right of any page. In the dropdown, select “Billing Details.”
Please note: Only the account owner or admin can access billing settings; if you are not the owner, you’ll need them to perform the upgrade.
-
Choose upgrade/downgrade
In your Billing Details page, you’ll see your current subscription plan information. Click the “Upgrade / Downgrade” button.
-
Select your new plan
You’ll be presented with BrightLocal’s plan options (Track, Manage, Grow) and a selector for the number of locations you manage, as well as monthly vs annual billing.
To access Reviews data in AI Insights, choose the Grow plan.
Ensure you pick the correct number of locations your account should cover, as plans are priced by location count.
-
Click “Subscribe Now”
You’ll be prompted to confirm your order details. Either the prorated cost (if you’re mid-billing cycle) or the new subscription amount will be shown before confirming.
If you’re increasing your plan, your credit card on file will be charged the prorated difference for the current period, and then the new rate going forward.
For annual plans, it will calculate the difference for the remaining term. -
Set up your Reputation Manager report

Ensure the report is complete before generating any new insights.
-
Generate new insights
Once your Reputation Manager report has completed, return to your AI Insights page for your location and select "Generate Insights".
Once your AI Insights have been generated, you will see that Reviews data is now included.
