When updating your Location Manager page, you will see the following warning:
“Warning: If you update locations + reports, then this may affect the results of your report. If you’ve purchased a Citation Builder campaign that hasn’t been worked on yet, this won’t update the data we use for your campaign.
If you want to update a Citation Builder campaign that hasn’t been submitted yet, please contact our support team.”
Reports
Because the details in your Location Manager, such as your business name, address, and phone number (NAP) are used to generate reports (for example to match your business to existing citations in Citation Tracker), making changes may affect the outcome of your reports.
Citation Builder
It is important to note that if you have purchased a Citation Builder campaign and it is not yet in the submission stage, any updates to your Location Manager page will not be accounted for. If you have updated any details for your location, and you have a campaign in progress, it is important to contact our support team as soon as possible to ensure that these changes are reflected in your campaign.
If your campaign has already been completed, any changes will not automatically be reflected in your existing submissions, and so you would need to purchase a follow-on campaign to have your citations updated by BrightLocal.
