Data Axle updates now sync automatically from Location Manager
You can now keep your Data Axle details up to date from Location Manager.
If you have an active Data Axle subscription through Citation Builder, your connection will now appear in Location Manager. Update your business details there, and we’ll automatically sync the changes to Data Axle.
What's changed
Before, updating your business details on Data Axle meant taking an extra manual step working with our Support team. Now, if your business has an active Data Axle connection, when you update your address, phone number, opening hours, or other business details in Location Manager, those changes will sync to Data Axle automatically.
Why it matters
- One update, no extra steps. Change your details once in Location Manager and they carry through to Data Axle, no separate submission needed.
- Help keep outdated information at bay. Data Axle shares business data with a wide network of directories, navigation apps, and local discovery platforms. That includes sources used by AI answer engines and voice assistants. Keeping your details current in Data Axle helps keep them current wherever that data flows.
- No setup needed. If you already have Data Axle through Citation Builder, the connection is already live in Location Manager. There's nothing to switch on.
Good to know: this applies to businesses with an active Data Axle connection purchased via Citation Builder within the last 12 months. If you don't have Data Axle yet, it isn't available to buy directly from Location Manager just yet — that's coming in a later release.
What's next: We’re continuing to grow our aggregator network, with more distributors on the roadmap. It’s all part of helping you keep your business data accurate and consistent across the channels that matter now, and the ones that are still emerging.
What is a citation aggregator?
Citation aggregators, like Data Axle, act as trusted distributors for your business information. Add your business details once, and they can be shared across a wide network of directories, maps, voice assistants, AI answer engines, and other local discovery platforms. One accurate submission helps create more consistent, trusted business information across the web. Learn more here.

Local Rank Tracker
Fixed: Best ranking position missed when your domain appears more than once in results
When your website appeared in multiple positions in the same set of search results, Local Rank Tracker was recording the lower position instead of your best one. It now correctly finds and reports your highest-ranking result.
