To connect to Facebook, the user making the connection must have ‘Admin’ or ‘Editor’ level permissions for this page. If the user who makes the connection has their permissions changed or removed at any time, the connection will be broken.
1. Select the Location
Start by logging in to BrightLocal and going to the ‘All Locations' page. Then, find the Location you want to connect and click 'View'.
2. Go to Location Manager
On the next page, click 'Location Manager' on the left-side menu bar.
3. Connect
Click the 'Connect' toggle in-line with Facebook.
4. Log in to Facebook
Facebook authorization will open in a new tab, click 'Continue as .....'
5. Select the Facebook page
You'll now see all the Facebook business pages that you manage. The address will be shown in the right-hand column. Select which page to connect to BrightLocal.
6. Confirm the connection
You'll now see a confirmation popup, check that this is the correct page and click 'Continue'
Now you have connected Facebook to BrightLocal, the 'Connect' toggle for Facebook will be active.
To disconnect simply click the 'Connect' toggle to disable it and confirm the removal.
