Do I need to provide a contact email for my Citation Builder campaign?

In the Citation Builder (CB) campaign setup, the contact email field in Step 3 may appear as mandatory.

The contact email field will be marked as required (*) only if a directory that requires an email submission is selected in Step 2. If no such directory is selected, the field will not be required to proceed.

If you want to ensure that your email is not published and only used for verification, please tick the box "Do not display email publicly on the listing" as highlighted in blue in the image below.

If you still wish to avoid submitting a contact email, please leave a note in the Campaign Notes section on Step 3 and the team will then adjust the directories accordingly.
