Why is a reference/additional data required to submit my campaign?

When creating a Citation Builder (CB) campaign, the 'Additional Data' field will only be marked as required (*) if a directory that requires these details is selected in step 2 of the campaign setup. If no such directory is selected, the field will not be required.

Although this would generally be required for niche sites, you can identify which directories will require additional data by referring to the notes in the directory selection list in step 2. If you are unable to provide this information, please ensure to replace these selected directories to proceed with your campaign

Alternatively, you can insert a placeholder such as 'ABCD12345' in this field, then leave our team a note in the 'Campaign Notes' section on the same page stating that you do not have these details. In this case, our team will replace any submission that requires these details with a different directory of the closest value.
